Classic Group Shandong Province key research and development plan project was officially launched
On November 13, 2024 Shandong Key Research and Development Plan (major scientific and technological innovation project) - "Large-scale steel structure digital construction and operation and maintenance technology and application demonstration" project launch meeting was held in Classic Group.
The project was initiated by Classic Group, and Shandong Jianzhu University, Shandong Jiaotong University, Shandong University, and China Construction Eighth Engineering Bureau First Construction Co., Ltd. participated in the project. The project team invited Professor Guo Yanlin of Tsinghua University, Liu Yansheng, Chief Engineer of Tsinghua University Architectural Design Institute, Sun Xiaoyan, President of Steel Structure Branch of China Building Metal Structure Association, and Professor Wang Lai of Shandong University of Science and Technology as expert consultants to provide guidance. Zhou Xuejun, the technical leader of the project and professor of Shandong Jianzhu University, Shi Zhenhua, Chairman of Classic Group, Zhang Qi, Deputy General Manager of Classic Group, and relevant members of the project team attended the meeting, and relevant leaders of Jining Science and Technology Bureau attended the meeting.
This project closely revolves around the extensive demand for large-scale steel structure products in the intelligent construction and operation and maintenance of large-scale infrastructure. It takes the full life cycle of "manufacturing-construction-operation and maintenance" as the main line, focuses on the digitalization, intelligence and green applications of the entire industrial chain, and studies and establishes a technical system that deeply integrates the entire industrial chain, including scientific and technological research and development, digital production, construction and assembly, health monitoring and corrosion maintenance, to form a new construction model for the production, construction and maintenance of large-scale steel structures that can be replicated and promoted, and promote the digital transformation and intelligent transformation and high-quality development of my country's construction steel structure industry.
The expert group believes that the plan is comprehensive, the technical route is reasonable, the plan is clear, and the responsibilities of each participating unit are clear. They also put forward highly targeted, guiding and constructive opinions and suggestions on the organization and implementation of the project. In the next step, the project team will strictly follow the requirements of the 2024 Shandong Provincial Key R&D Plan (Major Science and Technology Innovation Project) project performance evaluation, focus on the research and implementation of the project, and strive to achieve industrialization as soon as possible.
