Qingdao Cruise Home Port

    The design and modeling of Qingdao cruise home port comes from the meaning of "sail" of Qingdao -- the sailing capital of China. This project is a spatial structure of long-span beam unit, which is fully hinged, with novel shape, large steel content and high precision requirement for node processing. After we received this task, we organized many expert academic seminars to solve the special problems of processing and manufacturing special-shaped components. Ensure the quality and time limit, successfully completed this difficult task.

    The curtain wall is omitted outside the building, making the structure itself the most powerful language; The design of the ceiling in the interior space also tries not to block the main structure, so that people can still read the logic of the structure and feel the beauty of mechanics.

   Later, the project won the Gold Medal of China Steel Structure in 2015 after voting by the expert Committee of China Construction field.
